On The Hunt For: Affordable Turquoise Necklaces

True story: My sister's friend went on vacation to somewhere like Mexico and brought her back an authentic turquoise bead necklace. The beads were round and all the same size, and the color was a deep, slightly green turquoise. It was gorgeous and perfect and I STOLE it. Ok, not really, I just borrowed it for a while. But I swear to you I wore that sucker with everything that summer - shorts and t-shirts and fancy dresses, it just went with everything. Kinda like an updated strand of pearls.

So now I'm on the hunt for a comparable, geniune, affordable turquoise necklace.

This one from Amazon is gorgeous, but a little pricey at $145.

The color of this one is divine. And at $139.50 it's a bargain for all that lovely turquoise.

Classic.

Fabulous Watches For Fall (All Under $40!)

When Fall comes around, it always makes me want to get a new watch. Don't ask me why. Maybe it has something to do with the warmth of the gold and the leather, the clunkiness you normally wouldn't wear in the summer. Whatever it is, Fall to me = watch season.

So in honor of watch season, I was on the hunt for a cool, affordable, black watch. I headed to Amazon, searched "black watch" clicked on the first Casio, and hellllloooo motherload. And all under $20. Let me say that again: All under $20. Of course I was skeptical, but that's what the reviews are for, and they all went pretty much like this: "Awesome watch, works great, and it's only $20. Love it."

I am hooked.
